Hunters Run Winery

Wine down on Route 9!

Hunters Run is a lovely barn with a rich history!

Owner Geri Gleeson Nolan brings an unmistakable Irish hospitality theme to Virginia's wine country to make this winery one of the most enjoyable, yet casual and fun wine-tasting environments in Loudoun County.

The beautiful hunt-country barn was completed in early 2000 and converted to Hunters Run Winery (formerly Hunters Run Wine Tasting Barn) in the summer of 2009. Geri, hailing from Glenosheen, County Limerick, can be found in the very welcoming equestrian, Irish-themed barn serving a bevy of our wines. Behind the bar, Geri concocts her famous house sangria. A family secret, Hunters Run is the only place where you'll find this delicious blend of our wines. A new version is served every month, so be sure to stop by and ask for it.

Hunters Run is home to a warm and inviting atmosphere; come sit by the cozy fireplaces (both indoor and outdoor), chill on the outside deck, or mozy-on-over to the bar. We are a small, casual winery and would love for you to swing by, sit back, and raise a glass to "good health and great wealth". That is what we wish to those who pass through our doors. Slainte to all...
